THE 30TH NOVEMBER, 2025 FLYING KITES ON ANIOMA STATE CREATION, VOICE OF JACOB, HAND OF ESAU

The peoples of Delta North Senatorial District were never surprised at the documents hovering over the social media spaces, strongly believed to have been signed under duress and stern directive by the Federal and State Lawmakers and Council Chairmen of Delta North Senatorial District extraction. 

The content of the documents considered to have constituted worrisome distractions at a point when all hands are on deck to tackle the dreaded insecurity challenges being faced by the entire nation, calls for a deep reflection of our priorities, conscience examination and soul searching. 

The agenda to discourage the process is iconoclastic to the dreams and aspirations of creating an Anioma State and it is not out of place to ask whether those we elected to represent and govern us truly consider the importance and opportunities of achieving an Anioma State regardless of the political zone?

The Lawmakers and Council Chairmen never consulted the people they represent and govern respectively, before taking such self-serving decisions. For this reason, their intentions are treacherous, their decisions are personal and politically ill-motivated. For the avoidance of doubt, the content of the documents represent the voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau.

It is quite provocative and unfortunate that the people we elected to occupy very sensitive positions of character and trust, have reduced themselves into mere tools of political vendetta before an individual who had represented Delta North in the Senate but never had something substantial to justify his time in the Senate. 

This same individual also had his time as a Governor of Anioma extraction for a period of eight years, but never fairly distributed the dividends of governance across the nine local government areas of Anioma.

It is then worrisome to see some few leaders and people holding sensitive offices from the most deprived local government areas within the local government areas of Anioma, being used as mere tools to thwart genuine efforts of a distinguished and visionary Senator who is just two years and six months in office.

I urge the three Members representing the Federal Constituencies at the House of Representatives of the National Assembly and the nine State House of Assembly Members to prioritise quality representation and effective legislations that will inclusively affect the peoples of Delta North positively over politics of slavery and loyalty to an individual whose main focus is how to grab power by all means as seen in 2023.

To the Council Chairmen who also signed the document, I urge you to give attention to transparent use of public funds, while prioritising the needs of your various local government areas.
