THANK YOU DSP OVIE OMO-AGEGE FOR GIFTING NDOKWA NATION HER FIRST AND ONLY GOVT OWNED TERTIARY INSTITUTION ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU

Omo-Agege remains one of the very few politicians in Delta State who I rarely criticized — and rightly so — because his achievements, especially in Ndokwa land, speak for themselves. Since 1999, most of our politicians have come and gone without attracting any meaningful development to our people. Not even our own brother, the late Senator Patrick Osakwe, who spent 12 years in the Senate, could point to a single landmark project. The same goes for the self-acclaimed Pastor Ossai Ossai, who virtually turned the House of Representatives into his personal estate, yet all he could show for years of representation was a few bicycles handed out as “empowerment.”
The story of the Ndokwa people since 1999 has been one of disappointment and betrayal — a tale of politicians driven by selfish interests rather than public service. Many of them prefer to distribute ₦20,000 to ₦100,000 among idle youths to defend their failures on social media instead of working for real development.
Today, we have a Deputy Governor from Ndokwa for the very first time — a position that should bring pride and progress to our people. Sadly, after over two and a half years in office, the impact remains invisible. While I acknowledge his personal contributions before assuming the office, especially in offering scholarships to some of our youths, he has unfortunately allowed the Deputy Governor’s office to lose its value and relevance. At this rate, one wonders if any reasonable person from Ndokwa would even aspire to that position again.
Once again, I must sincerely thank Senator Ovie Omo-Agege for giving Ndokwa land its first and only Government owned higher institution — the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Kwale. This singular achievement is monumental when one remember that DSP is not even from Ndokwa and not from our Senatorial District. Ironically, when our Anioma brother, former Owa-Alero Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, created three new Universities in Delta State, he never considered Ndokwa land worthy of even one.
Omo-Agege’s legacy will forever stand as a reminder that true leadership is measured by impact, not titles.
NOTE: I want it to be on records that I don't only criticise politicians but appreciate good ones like DSP Ovie Omo-Agege.
