The recent purported declaration cum endorsement of Okowa by some emergency spring up pressure group for Senate, Delta North Senatorial District comes 2027 has received heavy backlash and resistance across the length and breath of Delta North Senatorial District.

A survey of the press release of the Purported pressure group endorsing Okowa for Senate come 2027 shows that the people of Delta North Senatorial District are still very much angry with him over the draconian manner he governed our State and treated most Delta North Senatorial District as conquered places and people that lead to the overwhelming rejection of his Vice Presidential aspirations even as a then sitting governor that made him fail woefully in the 2023 general elections.

Sen Okowa should be advised to jetission any political ambition for now and should embark on genuine reconciliation by reaching out to the populace he betrayed and people he treated like conquered people for forgiveness.

When Sen Okowa was in power, he ruled like King Pharaoh with iron fist tight hand virtually crushing anyone who disagree with his opinion or stands against his wishes and opinion forgetting that nothing lasts forever and that Power is transient.
