REPORT ON THE NED NWOKO SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR 90 STUDENTS FROM DELTA NORTH

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has taken a significant step towards empowering the youth of his constituency through a landmark scholarship scheme. The scheme, which was announced in June this year, aims to support 90 outstanding students from Delta North to study at the Sports University of Nigeria, Idumuje-Ugboko. The scholarship covers tuition fees and accommodation for the duration of the four-year programme.

During the APC stakeholders meeting in June, Senator Nwoko announced his intention to award scholarships to ten students from each of the nine local government areas that make up Delta North. The response was overwhelming, with many interested students applying for the scholarship. The screening process is currently underway, with the first batch of applicants already screened. The final batch will undergo screening this Monday.

The scholarship scheme is a testament to Senator Nwoko's commitment to manpower development and youth empowerment. The beneficiaries will enjoy:-
