SEN OVIE OMO-AGEGE SECURES 4.6 BILLION NAIRA TETFUND CONTRACT FOR FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES KWALE

I have read so much about the indelible role played by Ovie Omo-Agege in solely facilitating the establishment of the Federal University of Medical & Health Sciences, Kwale.
The Fmr. DSP did not STOP at only establishing the university.
Unfortunately, many are not aware of the further evergreen role of the Fmr. DSP in ensuring that fund was provided for the take-off of the building infrastructure.
Omo-Agege did not abandon the project even after leaving office. Therefore, I wish to personally bring to your notice the very great effort of Omo-Agege in ensuring the provision of over ₦4.6BILLION, as a silent achiever since October, 2024 for:
1) Auditorium and Library,
2) Classrooms and Laboratory, 3) Offices and Workways, 4) Security house and perimeter Fencing; most of them are furniture inclusive.
This foresight in pushing for early funding is evidenced in the Work in Progress at the Permanent site at Umuseti/Emu-Ebendo.
Indeed, he truly deserves plenty accolade.
Today, it is Omo-Agege fully EARNING our praise. Tomorrow it will be Monday Onyeme our worthy Deputy Governor. The very next day will be Okenmor Tilije who has also done well for our people. On another day, it will be you amongst others.
A non indigene has done so exceedingly well for our people from that first day I invited him to Kwale. He has also gloriously improved all facets of St Georges Grammer School, Obinomba.
It is encouraging to hear that Chief Onyeme and Chief Tilije amongst other persons are separately working out somethings to complement Omo-Agege' achievement. We are waiting to blow the trumpet, even LOUDER, in another and another round of celebrations. Let us encourage everyone to good works so that we can similarly EARN OUR PRAISE.
