THE FINAL STATUS OF THE OKPAI PHASE II IPP PROJECTS RELEASED BY THE TRANSMISSION COMPANY OF NIGERIA AS REQUESTED BY SENATOR PRINCE NED MUNIR NWOKO.

Based on the site inspection visit done by the Transmission Company of Nigeria on 14th December, 2024 as sponsored by the most distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) presented the status of projects report on the Okpai phase II IPP projects as duly requested by the most distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko to further commence the realization of the projects execution as soon as possible for the good people of Delta North senatorial district. 

Engr Rabiu A. Bako the assistant general manager of TCN who on behalf of the MD/CEO Engr. (Dr) S. A. Abdulaziz at TCN headquarters in Abuja presented the document to Mr. Ally Isah the Senior Special Assistant on oil and gas matters to the most distinguished Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko on 20th March, 2025.

The management of TCN duly appreciated the senator's concerns towards making this project becoming a reality through his consistent democratic push for the restoration of electricity in his Senatorial District.

The management also confirmed the lawmaker's consistent push shows how dedicated, resilient and people oriented the distinguished Senator is passionately determined to achieve the abandoned projects neglected by previous administration for the benefits of his people and they also said with great assurance of the senator's push they are very optimistic that the Okpai phase II IPP projects shall commence very shortly for the good of the people in Delta North Senatorial District.
