NOTICE OF CLARIFICATION ON THE ONGOING E-REGISTRATION EXERCISE FOR NEW MEMBERS ONLY

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State, under the chairmanship of Elder Omeni Sobotie, wishes to formally notify and clarify to all members of our great Party and the general public that the ongoing electronic registration (E-registration) exercise is specifically designed for new members of the Party in the State. This exercise primarily targets individuals who have recently defected to our party from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other political parties, as well as those who are joining the Party afresh.

This initiative has been duly approved by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in consultation with the National Chairman of our Party, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and in collaboration with His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for Delta State to serve as a pilot program for the E-registration exercise across the nation.

We wish to emphatically state that this E-registration exercise does not affect nor invalidate the membership status of existing or old members of the Party. A separate and comprehensive E-registration exercise for old and existing members will be launched in the coming months and adequate notice will be provided. Our old members are assured that their membership remains valid, intact and fully recognized by the Party.

We extend our deep gratitude to the new members who are participating in this process in large numbers, making the ongoing exercise an overwhelming success across the State. Your enthusiasm and commitment signal a new dawn for the Party in Delta State.

Once again, let us move forward in unity, strength and renewed purpose.
