Key Highlights of the Event

1. Inspiring Speeches:

Dr. Paul Enebeli and Chief Godwin Ossai were truly inspiring, offering historical contexts that motivated both the audience and the aspirants in attendance. Dr. Enebeli, a renowned pharmacist and former President-General of the Ndokwa Neku Union, brought his wealth of experience to the forefront, while Chief Ossai provided valuable insights from a historical perspective on what led to the formation of NNU. Together, their speeches sparked a sense of unity and purpose among the attendees, setting the tone for a productive and engaging event.

Everyone of these aspirants were energetic and spoke forcefully about why they desire to serve the people of Ndokwa in NNU. They all came prepared and made sense. Kudos to them all.

In his vote of thanks, Titus Obiorah, the chairman of NDA, the lead organizer of the town hall, thanked everyone who attended and contributed to making the event a success. He remarked that the purpose of the town hall was to give the people of Ndokwa and the aspirants the opportunity to interact and as a test for the aspirants to know those who have the humility to respond to the people's call.

The aspirants that participated demonstrated servant-leader qualities and humility. They have shown us that they will listen when we call. They have told us why they want to serve, and we are happy with all of them. We hope the delegates have made a note of today's event. When they vote, they must vote the will of the people they represent. Dr Obiorah advised the PG Aspirants to note the following in their governance blueprint: the role of local government councils in rural development, the need for mass sensitization of rural dwellers, advancement of political maturity in Ndokwa and the need to develop a strategic framework to harness the multiplicity of non-governmental and community associations in Ndokwa to mustard the critical force and support to push their agenda if elected.

The aspirants who did not show up excluded themselves from our reckoning. Since they don't have respect for the people, they are not worthy of our consideration, he said.
