Shop allocation is currently at an advanced stage, and in a rare gesture of generosity and commitment to community development, His Royal Majesty, Enyi Friday Abaja, the Ukwata of Umukwata Kingdom, who singlehandedly built the market, has graciously offered two years of free rent for both open and lock-up stores. Yes, traders can operate rent-free for two full years!

The commencement of commercial activities falls on an Afor market day. While Afor days will be specially observed for traditional market activities, Abaja International Market will operate daily, making it accessible to all traders and customers every day of the week.
