APC NWC, LED BY ABDULLAHI UMAR GANDUJE, RECEIVES SENATOR NED NWOKO INTO THE PARTY

Abuja, Nigeria – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of its National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has officially welcomed Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, into the party.

The defection of Senator Nwoko from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC marks a significant political realignment in Delta State. With this move, all three senators from the state are now members of the ruling party, further strengthening APC’s presence in the South-South region.

During the official reception at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, Dr. Ganduje commended Senator Nwoko for his decision, describing it as a step towards greater political collaboration and national development. He assured him of the party’s full support in his legislative duties and service to the people of Delta North.

In his remarks, Senator Nwoko expressed appreciation to the APC leadership for the warm reception, stating that his decision to join the ruling party was driven by a commitment to better representation and the need to align with a platform that prioritizes national progress.

The defection is expected to further bolster APC’s influence in Delta State and reshape the political landscape ahead of future elections.
