A Heartfelt Appeal to Government Representatives and Stakeholders—Advocating for Ndokwa West and East
The United Ndokwa for Growth and Development Association wishes to express profound gratitude for the ongoing efforts aimed at the betterment of Delta State. However, we are compelled to draw urgent attention to issues of marginalization affecting sons and daughters of Ndokwa West and Ndokwa East.
KEY CONCERNS
Lack of Representation: Our communities are repeatedly excluded from various state-sponsored activities and empowerment programs.
-Beauty Pageant Controversy: We note with dismay a recent Delta State beauty pageant, where participants from Ndokwa West and East were allegedly sidelined, generating deep concern about ongoing exclusion.
Youth Empowerment Program Exclusion: The Southern Nigeria Youth Congress is currently organizing a "Real Time Skill" empowerment initiative, yet Ndokwa West and East have reportedly been excluded from participation on the grounds that no suitable training center exists in our local government areas.
These instances are not isolated. The persistent lack of inclusion hinders the development, confidence, and advancement of the youth and the wider Ndokwa community. How long will our future generations be denied opportunities due to systemic neglect and inadequate representation?
OUR PLEA TO LEADERS
We earnestly call on local government chairpersons, stakeholders, and elected representatives from Ndokwa West and East to rise to this challenge.
We implore you to:
- Advocate vigorously for the inclusion of Ndokwa West and East in all state activities and empowerment programs.
Ensure our youth are not left behind, particularly by addressing the immediate need for operational training centers in Kwale and Ashaka.
Champion the interests of Ndokwa people at all levels, ensuring our voices are always heard, and our communities are afforded equal opportunities.
The Ndokwa nation is rich in potential, capability, and determination.
All we seek is a level playing field and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the prosperity of Delta State.
CALL TO ACTION
United Ndokwa for Growth and Development Association (UNFGADA) is appealing to our leaders and representatives to urgently:
- Facilitate the establishment and activation of training centers in Kwale and Ashaka.
- Advocate for the immediate inclusion of Ndokwa West and East in all upcoming skills acquisition and empowerment programs from the state.
- Uphold equity, fairness, and justice in every state activity that impacts our people.
Let us not allow future generations to suffer the consequences of our inaction.
Together, let’s ensure that Ndokwa’s interests are represented, our youth are empowered, and our community is given the respect and opportunities we rightfully deserve.
Sincerely,
Mr. Kunili Shola Friday
