PRESS RELEASE: SENATE AD-HOC COMMITTEE ON INCESSANT CRUDE OIL THEFT ANNOUNCES POSTPONEMENT OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Incessant Crude Oil Theft wishes to inform all stakeholders and the general public of the rescheduling of its planned two-day public hearing on the Investigation of the Incessant and Nefarious Acts of Crude Oil Theft in the Niger Delta and the Actors.

This adjustment follows the postponement of the Senate’s resumption date from 29th April to 6th May, 2025.

The public hearing will now hold as follows:

 • Date: Thursday, 15th – Friday, 16th May, 2025

 • Venue: Senate Conference Room 022, Senate New Building, National Assembly Complex, Abuja

 • Time: 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. on Friday

Stakeholders are required to submit thirty-five (35) hard copies and one soft copy of their Memoranda to the Committee Secretariat in Room 2.2 (White House, Senate) on or before Thursday, 15th May, 2025.

The Committee deeply regrets any inconvenience this postponement may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders.
