AN APPEAL TO NDOKWA/ UKWUANI PEOPLE AS REGARDS THE FORTHCOMING REFERENDUM FOR THE CREATION OF ANIOMA STATE

I am writing to appeal formally to Ndokwa people to fully support the creation of Anioma State, mobilize and participate in the forthcoming referendum. I sincerely appreciate the fact that some of us have different political leaders, interests and affiliation. This is very real in the complex nature of our political landscape. I would like you to think deeply so that you should not allow your loyalty to any leader to negatively becloud your sense of judgement.History has presented before you a great opportunity to be on the good side. There is no doubt that we have reached a very critical point in the agitation for the creation of Anioma State as we prepare for the referendum.

I respectfully appeal that you should reconsider your stand and henseforth no longer participate in any actions or activities that may negatively affect the creation of Anioma State.I appeal to you that you should not be involved in any needless and frivolous press release or conference against the creation of Anioma State. When Anioma State is eventually created , the benefits are huge and far greater than whatever benefits that you currently receive from anybody.Like the Israelites in the Bible, we are looking for a better country faught for by our fore fathers.

I do not advise you that you should not be loyal to your political leaders or traditional leaders but in this respect, you should define loyalty to your political leaders and carefully consider the obvious attendant benefits when Anioma State is created. As James Eneh puts it, " This is our Chance." We must not miss this opportunity. We should set outside our political interest for the ultimate benefits to all. Again, if there is anything that you think that has not been done properly in the event of the pursuit for the creation of Anioma state, my appeal to you is that you should focus more on the ultimate benefits to the Anioma people.

History was made in Akwa Ibom state on the 4th of July 2025. As I was travelling to Ekot Ekpene, the previous day, a number of thoughts raced through my mind. What if there is opposition during the paper presentation. There was palpable tension in me when senator Seriake Dickson called for opposing presentation after our brother rounded up our presentation, there was a huge sense of relief and tranquility within me after it became clear that there was no opposition to the bill seeking for the creation of Anioma State during the public hearing in Ekot Ekpene. "There is no opposition to the creation of Anioma state ." Said senator Seriake Dickson .This elicited great excitement and joy from the teaming Anioma people present on the occasion.

This is our chance to stand up for this noble cause that our forefathers faught for. We must mobilize for this refenrendum. We should start with our families. Ndokwa people must stop further publications against the creation of Anioma State. We should rather begin to enlighten all Ndokwa sons and daughters the need to vote in favour of the creation of Anioma State in our offices, market places, community meetings and family meetings . Ndokwa youths should urgently start mobilizing on different social media handles like you did in the light up Ndokwa agitation. You can 'give it any suitable title maybe  

"NDOKWA WANT ANIOMA STATE" I suggest you seek useful advice from the committee in charge of creation of Anioma state before you start any activity.

Thank you for your attention to my appeal. I am hopeful for your favourable reconsideration of my claims and appeal. I greatly appreciate you, taking time to think deeply about my appeal.

In conclusion, I greatly appreciate president BOLA AHMED TINUBU, the Senate president, senator GODSWILL AKPABIO, senator NED NWOKO for their support towards the creation of Anioma state.

I also very much appreciate the leaders of Ukpe Anioma world wide, CHIEF BARRISTER ALEX IKPEAZU, the National Coordinator of Ukpe Anioma CHIEF JOE OBUSEH, the national leader of Ukpe Anioma for their continuos support towards the creation of ANIOMA STATE
